The Olympic City
Situated in the northeast province of Liaoning, the gorgeous coastal city of Dalian has a long history of being used by foreign powers as a port. The city is well-known for its squares, fountains, gardens and beaches thanks to a former leader who initiated a ‘Green Storm,’ a widespread environmental development campaign.
Dalian also has a reputation for its football, hosting many national competitions and having the most successful team in China. Another big event is the annual Dalian International Fashion Festival which attracts thousands of designers, celebrities, pop stars and clothing merchants.
In late-July & early-August, the city celebrates its annual Dalian Beer Festival, which sees local and international vendors offering the chance for you to try their famous brews
Binhai Road, a 22-mile stretch of coast, is a wonderful place to explore the city’s natural side with beaches on one side and majestic hills on the other
Lushun City, Also known as ‘Port Arthur,’ is a beautiful tourist city zone with a long history
