The Hub of China

The city is known to Chinese people as being home to some of China’s greatest historical thinkers, and as such, one of the best universities is based there. The campus for Wuhan University is on a hill overlooking the East Lake. Thanks to this school and nearly a dozen others, the Wuchang neighbourhood has a young and vibrant feel. To get around the city, you can choose to use public transit like the brand new metro system or take a taxi, the rate of which starts at 6 RMB – less than $1!
